Photos of Boundary Waters in Winter

Even though it’s been downright balmy here in the Twin Cities for most of the winter, up north in the Boundary Waters has still been pretty cold – or at least it sure was this day when Mel and I went skiing across Moose Lake.

    Looks quiet and peaceful.

I’m a little surprised that they don’t cover those canoes or store them indoors. Seems like a Minnesota winter would be hard on a canoe.

It looks wonderful! I’ve never actually been there. All last summer we kept thinking that we should go (because it’d be so much harder this summer), and we never got there. We did go to the Kannas cabin though, we did get somewhat of an Up Nort’ fix.
